Versatile: the screens can be mounted in different ways to suit certain store needs

Scala has worked with Instorescreen to create a line of Android display systems designed to withstand the challenges of commercial and retail environments.

The screens, which range from 18cm to 165cm, feature hardened protective glass and metal casing, as well as flexible mounting certified to VESA standards. The systems run on dual-core Cortex A9 ARM processors and can be integrated with WiFi and 3G or 4G capabilities if desired.

The devices have Scala certification for single- and multi-frame content and come with Scala Player already integrated within the system. The screens will be distributed by Avnet Embedded, making the displays available in 80 countries world-wide.
