Apex and IFS have partnered with Proskills to print student workbooks for print and packaging educational charity PrintIT at Print Efficiently in October 2014, following the withdrawal of its previous partner.
The saddle-stitched workbooks will be produced using a Ryobi 755 G engine and finished on IFS equipment at the show. The event will also welcome school parties during its second week in order to give the next generation the chance to see print production in action.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for us to show our support of an organisation that encourages young new talent into the industry," states Bryan Godwyn, joint managing director of IFS. "The fast pace of change we witness every day combines with the ever-more creative use of technology and partner collaborations to help ensure print remains integral to every-day communication. To be able to demonstrate it to the next generation of printers is very exciting."
