Longmont, Colorado-based print service provider Circle Graphics announces that it has acquired Boston-based Mammoth Media, a grand-format printing company focused on the transit market.
Circle Graphics is the world’s largest producer of grand-format digital graphics, and the company has manufacturing facilities in Longmont and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The purchase of Mammoth Media now gives it an East Coast manufacturing presence and gives it the ability to offer transit-specific capabilities to its more than 12,000 customers worldwide.
Mammoth Media was founded in 2003 and has approximately 30 employees. They will join the 450 employees of Circle Graphics, which also has offices in Los Angeles, Detroit, New York City and Austin, Texas.
Founded in 2004, Circle Graphics’ main manufacturing facility in Longmont is 200,000 square feet and contains nearly 100 grand-format printers.
