Outdoor Plus supports Movember


Outdoor Plus is to run a special campaign across its display sites at Euston Road underpass and Vauxhall Cross, as part of efforts to raise awareness for Movember and men's health. The promotion will feature writer Jack Dyson's take on Burt Reynolds's nude Cosmopolitan centrefold in 1972.


Holo-Gauze lights-up DJ set at Madison Square Garden


A massive Holo-Gauze 3D hologram graphics formed part of DJ Eric Prydz's performance at Madison Square Garden in the USA. Created in collaboration with Realtime Environment Systems, a 20m by 5m Holo-Gauze screen displayed graphics, including a large talking head, numerous rotating particle effects and a giant helix.

Smart printing from HP


A new mobile app from HP will allow customers to monitor production and manage printers from the Latex 300 range remotely. Unveiled at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, the app will be free to download from January 2015.


3M partners with BSGA for awards


3M has signed up as the corporate sponsor of the first BSGA British Sign Awards, as well as backing the 'Sign Construction' category; meanwhile William Smith, UK distributor of 3M products, will sponsor the 'Vehicle Graphics of the Year' category.


EFI elite goes on display at SGIA


EFI will display the crème de la crème of its product range – the Vutek HS100 Pro, GS5500LXr Pro and H1625 print engines – at SGIA Expo 2014. The manufacturer hopes to demonstrate how its range of products are suitable for high-definition imaging and premium-quality production requirements.


IPIA reports success with 'Meet the Trade Buyer, Meet the Trade Supplier' event


The IPIA has revealed that the turnout for its 'Meet the Trade Buyer, Meet the Trade Supplier' event was significantly higher than in previous years. The group logged 563 20-minute meetings between buyers and suppliers at the Burton-on-Trent event.
