Mimaki's portfolio of solutions is continuing to collect industry accolades, announces its exclusive UK and Irish distributor, Hybrid Services Ltd. Viscom has recently presented the company with a "Best of 2014 Award" in the Large Format Printing category to not one, but two, Mimaki solutions - the JFX200-2513 and the UJV500-160 LED UV printers.
Mimaki collected its latest recognition as it continued its European-wide "Let's Create… Together" showcase at the three-day Viscom Frankfurt show earlier this month. The award is another 2014 highlight following the pair of European Digital Press Association （EDP） awards received at FESPA Digital 2014 for the Mimaki JFX200-2513 wide format printer and Kebab option for selected models in the small format UJF Series which provides 360-degree direct printing on cylindrical objects.
"Clearly the judges could not decide between the large format solution and the entry level model and so picked both," comments Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA, Mimaki Europe. The JFX200-2513 offers a choice of LED UV curing inks, including white and clear, and prints to an array of substrates for unlimited creative opportunities to deliver unparalleled results to expand the potential for professional sign and graphics companies. Hybrid's national sales manager, industrial products, Stuart Cole comments, "The Mimaki JFX200 is proving to be a hugely successful solution. It's easy to operate, has a compact footprint and maximizes productivity by using industry standard-sized media. The accolade from Viscom for this and the UJV500 is a great plaudit for us all."
Similar to the JFX200, energy-saving LED-UV curing with long-lasting LED-UV units is just one feature of the Mimaki UJV500-160. It also offers fast throughput, cost-effective and environmentally friendly curing, and 3M MCS warranted inks. The availability of white inks for roll-to-roll printing further enhances the possibilities.
Horsten adds, "When the production environment evolves as diversely as it has, Mimaki understands that customers demand a varied choice in the solutions they invest in. Mimaki's technologically responsive and fast expanding portfolio includes both the above mentioned award winning solutions as well as the new CJV300 and CJV150 ranges of integrated inkjet printer/cutters and the new Mimaki JV150 inkjet printer. These were all on show at Viscom and will shortly be available in the UK and Ireland via Hybrid's network of authorised resellers.
