Stanford Marsh Group (SMG) has received three prestigious awards – two from HP and one from Canon – in recognition of its success within the wide format print sector.
SMG Director Adrian Painter picked up the HP awards at HP's Partner Conference in London on 4th November. Once again, the company won both the HP Designjet UK&I FY14 Market Share Contributor of the year and the HP Designjet UK&I FY14 Technical Partner of the year. The awards were presented by Phil Oakley, the UK Designjet Manager for HP and Thomas Valjak, HP's Vice President and EMEA General Manager of Large-Format Printing.
In simple terms, the Market Share Contributor award confirms that SMG shipped more HP Designjet printers in terms of volume than any other UK vendor in 2014, whilst the HP Technical Partner of the Year award was given in recognition of Stanford Marsh having sold more Designjet T-series machines than any other vendor this year.
Separately, Matthew Perkins, Co-Director of SMG, accepted an award on the same date verifying the company's UK Premier Partner status 2014 / 2015 for Canon Wide Format solutions. The award was presented in Istanbul, Turkey, by Mr Miyano, Managing Director of Canon Wide Format Europe, and certifies Stanford Marsh as one of only 18 Canon Premier Partners across Europe.
On the three new awards, Adrian Painter comments: "These awards demonstrate the breadth of our product range and the structure of our business which allows us to support multiple brands without compromise. We have won successive awards from HP over several years and we continue to develop our working relationship with both HP and Canon."
As a leading independent solutions provider for the wide-format and 3D print sectors, Stanford Marsh offers solutions from Canon, Epson, HP, Mimaki, Mutoh and Stratasys amongst others, alongside the associated consumables and finishing devices. The company, which employs around 100 staff, has its headquarters in Worcester and also has offices in Bristol, Derby, South Wales and Scotland.
