Roland DG to debut Texart RT-640 dye sublimation printer at Printwear & Promotion Show
Roland DG will be marking its return to the
Printwear and Promotion Show by demonstrating an impressive portfolio of
machines and applications on stand H22 this year, including the UK debut of the
new Texart RT-640 dye sublimation printer.
Says Brett Newman, Sales Director, Roland
DG UK: “We’re exhibiting at Printwear and Promotion for the first time in many
years and we’re very pleased to be attending the show with such an outstanding
range of machines, all designed to add performance and profitability to our
customers’ businesses.
“Over the past few years, the printwear and
promotional sectors have seen exponential growth in the demand for
personalised, high quality textile and promotional printing. This
ever-increasing demand is creating exciting new opportunities across these
sectors. At the show this year, visitors to the Roland DG Stand will be able to
witness first-hand the extraordinary range of profitable textile and
promotional printing applications possible with Roland machines, opening up a
new world of possibilities and potential revenue streams for entrepreneurs and
others wishing to grow their businesses.”
Roland’s new Texart RT-640 sublimation
printer can help produce an exhaustive range of high quality products on a wide
selection of substrates. It offers a production quality print speed of 22m2/hr
and a maximum speed of 32.6m2/hr with a dual CMYK mirrored print head
(MYCKKCYM) that virtually eliminates chromatic banding. The RT-640 offers a
choice of dual CMYK or 8-colour ink configurations, including Orange and Violet
which have an extremely wide colour gamut ensuring bold and vibrant printing
with high contrast, subtle gradations and remarkably fine detail. The addition
of a new strong Black ink also provides the depth and density so often needed.
The new RT-640 allows users to add exceptional value to their businesses
through offering a wide range of profitable applications including apparel,
soft signage, interior décor, fashion items, flags, banners, personalisation
and original goods.
The Texart will be joined on the stand by a
representative of the largest selling family of print & cut machines in the
world - the VersaCAMM SP-300i - a powerful, highly versatile and economical 30
inch (760mm) wide print & cut machine. The compact SP-i Series, which also
includes a 54 inch (1370mm) model, combines 4-colour printing and contour
cutting all in one device in a seamless workflow, offering outstanding value
for money. Using the SP-300i, users can create colourful outdoor and indoor
graphics including banners, posters, labels, decals, heat transfers, vehicle
and floor graphics, promotional banners, window stickers, POS and POP displays.
Alongside these machines will be the
remarkable VersaUV LEF-20. Able to print directly onto almost any object
and substrate up to 100mm deep, the LEF-20 is an exciting new profit-making
device for printing onto 3D objects. It can be used to create unique and highly
desirable items, including personalised stationery, key rings, golf balls,
mobile phone covers, awards, USB sticks and other giftware and promotional
items. Plus the LEF-20 also enables users to print onto industrial components
and electronic devices, or even create stunning decorative wedding album
covers.
Completing the product line up will be
Roland DG’s hugely versatile VersaSTUDIO BN-20 – a 20 inch wide desktop print
& cut machine. Available in a choice of three eco-solvent ink
configurations including metallic & White, the BN-20 adds production
flexibility to a business without any compromise on quality or vibrancy.
With its ability to print metallic or white, the BN-20 has changed the game in
the desktop inkjet class, adding real value to products and profits to
promotional and printwear businesses. It can output full colour and contour cut
graphics on a broad spectrum of coated and uncoated media, producing an
exhaustive range of durable and eye-catching outdoor and indoor graphics and
applications including stickers, decals, labels, t-shirt transfers, fashion
items, POS and POP, photo prints, signs, posters, small format signage and
vehicle graphics – all from the desktop.
Better Business with Roland DG
Joe Wigzell, Roland DG’s Academy and
Creative Centre Manager will also be on hand throughout the three days of the
show to answer any questions about the Roland Academy courses or the Creative
Centre as well as running two Sublimation Seminars. Seminar One will be held on
Sunday, 22nd February at 11am; with Seminar Two running from 2pm on Tuesday,
24th February.
Similar in style to Roland’s renowned
series of product-focused Bootcamps, each seminar will provide a comprehensive
overview of the market as a whole including both desktop and wide format
sublimation options, helping visitors to understand the role each plays and the
opportunities each can offer. Examples of the extensive range of possible
applications using sublimation printing will also be presented and discussed,
as well as how visitors can use their investment in sublimation technologies to
carve out new, profitable revenue streams for their businesses.
Concludes Newman: “The Printwear and
Promotion Show is the perfect opportunity for those in textile, fashion and
promotional printing sectors who are looking for technologies that can be
relied on to produce high quality, profitable printing applications to explore
all the creative applications and possibilities available with Roland DG. We
warmly invite anyone attending the show to come onto the stand and chat through
the ideas, concepts and aspirations they have. I’m very confident, with this
impressive line-up of technologies and support services that together we can
bring all these to fruition.”
