Nashville, Tennessee-based Identity Group Holdings Corp. announces that it has acquired Alchemy Dimensional Graphics LLC, a wholesale-only supplier to the architectural signage market.
Identity Group Holdings has multiple brands within its portfolio, including sign, stamp and stationary companies.
Founded in 2008, Hillsborough, North Carolina-based Alchemy holds several U.S. patents in polymer process technology, which it uses to create its unique product lines.
“In joining Identity Group with their production capacity, proven fulfillment capabilities and a responsive knowledgeable sales force, Alchemy will continue to bring value, based on both aesthetics and performance,” says Bill Stecker, former Alchemy principal and current Identity Group vice president.
Identity Group CEO Brad Wolf says it was Alchemy’s technology development that was a primary driver in the decision to add the company to his portfolio.
“Alchemy’s product offerings in interior signage are so unique, they had really established themselves as a single source in our industry,” says Wolf. “Now, I am proud to say that Identity Group can offer those products on a much larger scale and in many different industries, where these innovations have not previously reached. We continue to look for smart acquisitions like Alchemy that bring our customers creative options for interior signage”.
Identity Group is a member of the Ancor Capital Partners portfolio and employs 500 people with more than 210,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing operations in Tennessee, Kansas, Ohio, New York, Maine and North Carolina.
