Findlay, Ohio-based Rowmark LLC, an engraving substrate manufacturer, announces that it is the only material manufacturer to launch a mobile app to aid customers in finding the perfect color matched plastic sheet.

The “Color Snap” app works in two steps: First, take a photo of the color you would like to find in the Rowmark range or choose a photo from the device’s photo gallery. Then select from a pre-determined list of product filters based on the project needs (laserable, font engravable, ADA-compliant, weather tolerant, etc.). The app will bring up suggested Rowmark color match materials, including product names, item codes and plies, along with an image of the color or pattern. A user can also request a Rowmark sample of their color match directly from the app.

The new Color Snap app is free and is available in the Apple iTunes app store via iOS version 8 on Apple iPhone or iPad.
