Roseville, Michigan-based Graphics East, which has been providing print for pay services in the Detroit area for more than 40 years, announces that it will be integrating EFI’s Midmarket Productivity Suite of advanced software into its entire business and production operations.
According to Grahics East, the software investment addresses productivity and management needs, from job submission to job fulfillment and final billing, across all key functions within the business. Company officials say the EFI software will allow it to streamline operations to handle higher volumes of short-run digital print jobs while giving managers the data they need to make informed, accurate decisions.
Graphics East’s current workflow technologies, which it uses to ticket, schedule and track jobs, does not automate business and production processes to the degree needed to accommodate the rise in job volume seen with the company’s sales growth in digital print, the company says.
The EFI Productivity Suite, including the Pace and Digital StoreFront Web-to-print components, will be installed at Graphics East later this year.
Along with developing workflow software, EFI is also a wide format printer manufacturer.
