Longmont, Colorado-based grand-format printing company Circle Graphicsannounces the acquisition of West Coast-based Imagic, a large- and grand-format printing company serving the transit market.
This is the third acquisition by Circle Graphics in just over a year. The company bought the art division of Café Press in February, and last October it bought Boston-based Mammoth Media, which also focuses on the transit market.
Burbank, California-based Imagic was founded in 1990 and serves California-based entertainment companies and studios as well as national out-of-home advertisers and media buyers. Its product lines include vehicle and bus wraps, transit station graphics, entertainment industry advertising and traditional billboards.
The acquisition not only expands Circle Graphics' out-of-home advertising business – which includes everything from taxicab signage to billboards to wraps on the sides of skyscrapers – but it also gives the company a physical presence on the West Coast that it did not previously have.
