Sina Printing, a family-run print provider in Markham, Ontario, Canada with 60,000 square feet of space and more than 110 employees, announces that it has doubled its finishing capacity since adding an Esko Kongsberg C table to its cutting department.
After starting from modest beginnings, Sina Printing in its 15 years has established itself as the trade printer for thousands of print resellers all across the United States and Canada.
The company had been operating a digital cutter but it sought a second machine with hopes of at least doubling its finishing capacity. Sina had been operating Esko i-cut Suite workflow software even before it owned a Kongsberg table, and it says that one of the reasons the Kongsberg machine made sense was that it has an i-cut vision system, meaning it’s creating cutting marks faster than the company’s old machine.
The new machine is also able to more effectively handle difficult materials and specialty folds, the company says.
Esko is based in Gent, Belgium.
