Fremont, California-based EFI, a wide-format printer manufacturer and productivity software developer, is one of eight businesses honored this year with the prestigious American Chamber of Commerce in Italy Transatlantic Award.
EFI CEO Guy Gecht and Ambrogio Caccia Dominioni, managing director of EFI's textile division, EFI Reggiani, were in Milan, Italy, in early December to receive the award from the U.S. Ambassador to Italy, John Phillips.
AmCham Italy, as the organization is called, selected EFI as one of this year’s award recipients for its emphasis on international collaboration to strengthen and promote “Made in Italy” excellence with EFI Reggiani’s textile printing technologies. EFI Reggiani is one of the world’s premier developers of textile printing technologies and it was acquired earlier this year by EFI. It continues to be based in Bergamo, Italy.
