San Diego-based Videotel Digital, a maker of digital signage media players and interactive digital media solutions, is receiving high praise from California footwear company Rainbow Sandals for its VP70 series digital media players.

The company, which was founded in Laguna Beach, California, in 1974 and produces two million pairs of sandals a year, says its new Videotel system simplifies its digital signage due to its ability to auto-loop branding and informational content via USB using its plug-and-play functionality. The VP70 series can auto-loop in HDMI resolution while still incorporating audio files as well as background sound. According to the company, this eliminates the need for an audio extractor and creates even more simplicity. It can also add different visual affects to create compelling content from all vantage points.
