Irvine, California-based wide-format printer manufacturer Roland DGAannounces its 2016 schedule of Roland Academy Born-to-Wrap workshops.
Offered by Roland throughout the year, the Born-to-Wrap classes offer those interested in vehicle wraps the opportunity to learn from the experts atDigital EFX Wraps.
The workshops offer a wealth of information both for novices new to the world of wraps and for established wrap business owners and technicians looking to take their operations to the next level.
In addition to classroom education, the workshops offer hands-on instruction in a supportive setting that simulates an actual shop environment. Students are also given useful tips for getting the most of Roland’s wide-format printers in a variety of vehicle wrap applications.
In 2016, workshops will be conducted at Digital EFX headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky; the campus of NASCAR’s legendary Richard Childress Racing (RCR) team in Welcome, North Carolina; and the Roland DGA headquarters in Irvine, California. To complement its Born-to-Wrap workshop schedule, Roland DGA is planning on offering more free wrap-related webinars in 2016. A schedule for those webinars will be released at a later date. A recent online webinar attracted what the company says was a record nearly 1,000 attendees.
In addition to Roland’s general two-day (Basics & Beyond) Born-to-Wrap workshops, which provide an overview for beginning to intermediate level wrappers, the company will also be offering special one-day classes focusing specifically on the “Business and Design” elements of vehicle wrap. These classes are ideal for those who already have a general understanding of the installation process, but want to learn new and effective ways to develop unique designs, attract new customers, and elevate the overall success of their businesses.
