Melville, New York-based Canon Solutions America, a wholly-owned subsidiary serving as the sales arm of Canon U.S.A., announces the election of new board officers and a conference chair for its thINK 2016 conference.
Canon Solutions America debuted its annual inkjet users’ conference last September in New York and hundreds attended. Plans for this year are to broaden the thINK program: Along with a conference, scheduled for October in Boca Raton, Florida, the company is also putting out a printed publication designed to keep members of the thINK community apprised of industry trends and innovations. There’s also been a website launched—www.thinkforum.com—that can serve as a resource, including granting the ability to watch all thINK 2015 conference presentations.
Mark DeBoer, director of customer experience at Illinois-based Darwill Inc. and the thINK 2015 conference chair, was named president of the thINK board. Dave Johannes, senior vice president of operations at Minnesota-basedIWCO Direct, was named thINK vice president and 2016 conference chair.
Bob Radzis, chief customer officer at Illinois-based SG360°, was named board secretary and treasurer.
The thINK 2016 conference will take place in Boca Raton, Florida, from Oct.11-13. More than 400 inkjet customers of Canon Solutions America are expected to attend.
