Canon Solutions America’s thINK Community Launches Handbook
Mar 03 2016 09:10:44 , 1414

Canon Solutions America’s thINK community—a collective of the company’s production print customers—has published a handbook called The Inkjet Edge—How to Transition Your Business to Inkjet.

The book is aimed at those preparing to transition to production inkjet technology. The book is a collection of learning, know-how and recommendations of Canon Solutions America’s customers, its solution partners, leading industry analysts, and production inkjet experts. It provides guiding principles and best practices for those looking to optimize their work and explore the scope of inkjet technologies.

The handbook is sponsored by thINK and was collaboratively produced with Melville, New York-based Canon Solutons America, which is the sales arm of Canon U.S.A.

The company says the handbook was created because the use of inkjet technology continues to climb, already having reached $3.5 billion, and an all-encompassing industry resource was needed. “The Inkjet Edge” is geared both toward companies investigating transitioning to inkjet and also those that have already done so and want to make their transition even more successful.

Topics covered in the book include: production inkjet opportunity; inkjet justification process; data-driven marketing messages; paper and the impact of ink; finishing; workflow integration; organizational effects of inkjet; application opportunities; and much more.

The handbook is available to thINK members at www.thINKforum.com.
