The Ethisphere Institute, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based organization that annually rates what it calls the “World’s Most Ethical Companies,” has named four companies familiar to sign and digital graphics markets to its 2016 list.
Ricoh, 3M, Cisco and GE were among 131 companies that made this year’s list, which measures corporate integrity and recognizes those companies that excel. Companies compete in five key categories to make the list: ethics and compliance programs; corporate citizenship and responsibility; culture of ethics; governance; and leadership.
This is the tenth year that the Ethisphere Institute has put the list together. GE, which makes sign lighting and LED components, among a wide variety of other electronic products, has made the list all 10 years. Cisco, a maker of interactive digital signage platforms, has made the list nine times; Ricoh, a manufacturer of inkjet printheads and wide format digital printers, has made the list seven times; and for graphic films manufacturer 3M, this is the third time on the list.
Ethisphere says best practices and insights from the 2016 honorees will be released in the form of a white paper and infographics over the next few months. For more information visit ethispere.com.
