Ventura, California-based SloanLED, a supplier of indoor and outdoor LED products, announces the appointment of Ervin Cash as its new president, CEO and member of the board of directors.
Cash brings more than 27 years experience in strategic, international business growth to his new position; previously he served as CEO for AERCO International Inc. and Bosch Thermotechnology NA Corp.
Cash has extensive experience in energy-efficient technologies, managing operational complexity in both national and international corporate environments, with expertise in applying appropriate growth models, developing new go-to-market channels and reducing complexities to achieve results.
“We welcome Mr. Cash to SloanLED and are eager to have him take the helm of our internationally expanding investment in LED lighting,” says Scott Hoffman, operating partner of Baird Capital, a venture capital firm that owns SloanLED. “His global expertise with driving corporate growth is exactly what’s required for SloanLED at this time.”
Cash earned his MBA at Xavier University, as well as a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kansas and a bachelor of arts degree in communications and human resources from MidAmerica Nazarene University. He has also undertaken post-graduate study at Harvard Business School’s executive education program and he currently serves on the board of directors of the Alliance to Save Energy.
“I am thrilled to join SloanLED and look forward to advancing the growth initiatives underway,” says Cash. “We will hold fast to the company’s 60?year heritage of innovation, customer service, and high quality product while pursuing new business development and channel diversification. “Our company has expansion opportunity in the global LED market as demand surges for efficient and reliable solid state lighting solutions.”
