Moultonboro, New Hampshire-based Novus Imaging announces its acquisition of Redwood Technologies LLC, which specializes in the design, development and integration of products for the digital inkjet industry.

Novus says the purchase will serve the needs of the company from an ongoing R&D and manufacturing standpoint, further boosting its intellectual property position. The company says the acquisition gives it an impressive line of digital inkjet engine designs configurable to drive most industrial print head models—the Nemesis and Lycos print engines and patented methods for backlit imaging and printing with binary fluids. It also gives NOVUS access to an established manufacturing facility and other assets and fits into NOVUS’ strategy to continue innovating and advancing the industry.

“This acquisition is consistent with our commitment to high quality, American-made products, and solidifies our position as the only privately held, industrial inkjet manufacturer in the market today with its own in-house design and (intellectual property,” says Michael Mills, president and chief technology officer for Novus.
