Mentor, Ohio-based graphic films manufacturer Avery Dennison has appointed Nick Tucci to the position of vice president of sales for Materials Group North America. The company also announced the appointment ofPatricia Hubbard to vice president of R&D for Materials Group North America.

Tucci, in his new role, will lead the business’s field sales, technical sales, customer service and technical support teams for label and packaging materials. He has 22 years of experience with the company, including serving a wide variety of leadership roles in procurement, finance, product re-engineering and the films product line. Most recently, he led Avery Dennison’s Reflective Solutions business as general manager and vice president. For his performance in that role Tucci was recognized as leader of the year in 2015.

Hubbard, in her new role, will lead the business in new product development for growth and material re-engineering, drive innovation through a globally connected R&D agenda and oversee the R&D lab and pilot assets for both the LPM and Graphics Solutions businesses.

Hubbard joins Avery Dennison from PolyOne, where she held the position of vice president of corporate technology, according to Avery Dennison. Other roles with PolyOne include leading a global specialty engineered materials business as technology director. Previous to PolyOne, she held various R&D positions at General Electric.
