LINTEC Corp., headquartered in Tokyo, announces its intent to purchaseLintec Graphic Films, which is based in the U.K.

LINTEC Corp. is a manufacturer of adhesive-related films and papers with operations in 15 countries around the world. Lintec Graphic Films has been processing and selling LINTEC’s products, including its label materials for printing, graphic materials and window films, in the UK and other European regions since 2010, when a licensing agreement was signed.

Under terms of the sale, all shares of Lintec Graphic films will be placed under the umbrella of the parent company’s wholly owned European subsidiary, LINTEC Europe B.V., which is based in the Netherlands.

In October, LINTEC Corp. announced it was buying Mactac Americas in a deal worth approximately $375 million.
