Korea-based InkTek Corp., which makes inks for wide-format printers and sells its own JETRIX line of printers, announces that it is establishing a new JETRIX service center in the northern part of the United Kingdom. The company says it will be meant to serve all of northern England.

The company says this is an important region for InkTec, as the number of JETRIX installations has been steadily increasing over the last two years. The new center, which is near Newcastle, will continue to provide the support currently delivered by the company’s facility much further south in Witney. However, the company says the new location will give it much more rapid response times within the region. Two engineers based there will provide installations, as well as offering full training and technical consulting. The location in Witney will continue to provide technical support as well, the company says.
