Irvine, California-based Digital2Go Media Networks, a location-based media and technology company focused on customer engagement services and solutions, announces a partnership with one of Mexico’s largest digital signage companies, SSL Digital.
The partnership will allow Digital2Go to extend its platform in central and south America. Already, it has contracts in the region with Alamo Mexico; Venados de Mazatlan, the professional baseball team and stadium in Mazatlan, Mexico; and the prestigious Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City. Response to its platform has been overwhelming, it says, driving the need to secure an established and capable digital media partner.
SSL Digital’s digital signage network and digital out-of-home displays operate in 24 airports and more than 6,000 sites on more than 12,000 screens. All told the company’s displays reach some 60 million people per year, it says.
“The early success we have found in Mexico challenged us, but validated our model and need for an experienced partner that understood the dynamic needs of the market, and had the reach both in digital capabilities and advertising and branding customers,” says D2GO CEO Mike Canevaro. “We are excited about this partnership and know that this relationship will bear tremendous fruit for everyone involved.”
