Las Vegas-based MirageVision, which makes flat screen TVs and theater systems designed for outdoor use, announces a new agreement with Samsung that will have it incorporating its trademarked MirageVision Outdoor Weatherization Process and Picture/Image Enhancement Technology throughout Samsung’s digital sign displays, commercial hospitality TVs and consumer televisions.
The two companies have had a partnership for the 10 years, with MirageVision using Samsung TVs as its “top of the line donor TVs.” Under the new alliance, MirageVision will purchase and customize the latest Samsung commercial digital signage displays and hospitality TVs and convert them into MirageVision “outdoor” displays and TVs. These look like any other indoor signage or televisions, except they are weatherproofed and have been altered for outdoor daytime viewing, even in direct sunlight, according to MirageVision.
